Ilir Kalemaj shows the 'formula' how to achieve the unity of the DP

Political scientist Ilir Kalemaj in the MCN Live news studio commented on the challenges of the Democratic Party where he stopped at the joint lunch.

He said that it serves the union, but if two candidates go to the May 14 elections, then this will penalize the PD and favor the majority.

"Politics is the art of social reconciliation, what we see is a PD that is more divided than the Democrats at the base. Unfortunately, if this formula is used in elections with two candidates, then the PD will be penalized and the majority will be favored. But how will the union be reached? This lunch serves the union in the sense that they are not enemies of each other, but we know that time does not promise what needs to be achieved because a pair of elections have passed, several stages have been burned", said the political scientist.

Further, Kalemaj added that unfortunately we do not have a runoff because if we had, it would eliminate the weight of the second or third factor.

"In the DP's lunch messages, there could be the same agreement with the free zones because if this were the case, then I can say that Elbasan, Durrës should stay with these candidates that they are, Kalemaj emphasizes.
