Chaos in the Assembly from the Berisha-Bardhi grouping, MP Mediu 'slaps' Reestablishment: Routine actions that have no benefits and do not give the right productivity

Deputy Fatmir Mediu, at the same time the chairman of the Republican party that has recently joined what is known as the 'opposition federation', has criticized the Re-establishment for the chaos created in the Assembly and in the parliamentary committees.

Mediu said that such actions, which have already become routine, do not give the right productivity.

"The opposition must build a parliamentary action to create a relationship with the citizens, not with the government. Every action that turns into routine on the part of the opposition turns into counterproductive" - ??said Mediu.

As far as the Electoral Reform Commission is concerned, Mediu said that despite the fact that Enkelejd Alibeaj should not be co-chairman as a representative of the opposition, it is important to have a consensus on the essence of the opposition's demands on the electoral code.

"Alibeaj should not be co-president, but it is important to have consensus on the essence. For the open lists, we must return the parliament to the constitutionality. Citizens are much wiser than politicians. To continue with electronic voting, there is no cost that is not worth covering in order to have fair elections" - stressed Mediu.

As for Criminal Amnesty, a draft law for which PD has stated that it will only vote if the initial version of the proposal is returned, while Reestablishment has set conditions, Mediu said that any kind of political manipulation on such a draft law should be removed.
