The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has called the head of the government a ruble prime minister and added that he has turned Rilindja into a haven of immorality in every aspect. Invited to the "Frontline" show, Meta also spoke about the former head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, and the suspicions about Russian funding in the Democratic Party. Meta stated that, as the head of PD Sali Berisha also stated, the former American ambassador went to his office worried about this issue, but that he did not believe him. Meta suspects that from the moment Mr. Basha entered politics, he was infiltrated.

What can you tell us about SPAK's request that Mr. Bardhi submit the document with the indictment on the McGonigal case?

Meta: Rama met a very high official of the FBI in the presence of businessmen, without the presence of the State Intelligence Service, without representation from the US that usually happens in these meetings. It is clear that he did it to destroy political pluralism, the basis of the existence of the state of law and constitutional order in the country.
There may be facts about DP or PL but there is an official way. But the insidious path followed by him by corrupting such an institution is a very serious act of violating the Constitution. It deserves everything and every punishment. These are facts. Every day there are articles in the world media, it is a serious event.

For the prime minister of a NATO member country to do this is a very serious thing, a stab at the heart of Albanian-American relations, involvement of American institutions in the internal political struggle in the country.
