The deputy of the Democratic Party, Helidon Bushati, has asked to hold a reconciliation assembly to resolve the impasse within the party.

Bushati says that the elections of May 14 have proven better than divided, everyone loses. He says, referring to the unusual situation in which DP has gone through during these years, this moment should be an opportunity for objective reflection.

"This is our obligation, this is the only way we can rise again. We are the ones who should give him the opportunity and strongly support the formation of a new political class in the direction of the Democratic Party", he says.

Reconciliation Assembly needed! The local elections of May 14 proved to us the best that divided we all lose.

Referring to the unusual situation that the Democratic Party has gone through during these years, as well as the loss or defeat in the elections that we are leaving behind, this moment should be an opportunity for awareness, objective reflection and not an opportunity to find alibi or excuses for the loss.

What I have proposed, what I believe and have believed since September 2021, that what serves the democrats and the Democratic Party more than ever in these moments is the creation of a platform for the unification of the entire opposition front through a Reconciliation Assembly people and a new and true communication strategy with which we address every democrat, oppositionist and citizen of this country.

I believe that it is more fair and dignified, starting with ME and most of those who have lost challenges at the district level or at the national level, that it is time to take a step back and support the new figures who will represent the Democratic Party and they will take on the responsibility of rebuilding it with us.

This is our duty, this is the only way we can rise again. We are the ones who should give him the opportunity and strongly support the formation of a new political class in the direction of the Democratic Party.
