The killing and wounding of the effectives in Kosovo, comes the reaction of Basha: Belgrade authorities condemn and distance themselves from the destabilizing acts

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, reacted after the serious incident in the north of Kosovo, where one policeman lost his life and another was injured after being attacked by masked and armed persons.

Through a status on his Facebook page, Basha says that he is shocked by this event while calling on Belgrade to condemn and distance itself from this serious event.

"Shocked by the killing of the Kosovo Police employee and the wounding of another employee in Leposaviq. My thoughts and prayers are with the family members and colleagues of the employee who lost his life in the line of duty, as well as for the recovery of his injured colleague. At this critical moment in the fight against crime, we are on the side of the Kosovo Police and the country's authorities as they work to bring the perpetrators of this serious event to justice. I call on the Belgrade authorities to emphatically condemn and distance themselves from this serious event and from the destabilizing language and acts", says Basha.
