Elections of May 14/ The leadership of the DP is divided into two groups, here are the members who seek the support of the "Primary" candidates (NAMES)

As the meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party was held to discuss the scenarios of the candidacy in the May 14 elections, it seems that the members are divided into two groups.

Sources indicate that the College of Mayors had extensive discussions where the idea of ??having official DP candidates led by Enbkelejd Alibeaj prevailed in all municipalities. But there have also been proposals to reach an agreement with the other party led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, which has not been finalized yet.

While the majority of deputies of the DP Parliamentary Group led by Alibeaj think that on May 14 they should only compete with names for the municipal councils.

Among the names that have asked to support the "Primary" candidates of Berisha are Gazment Bardhi, Jorida Tabaku, Dhurata Çupi and Dashnor Sula.

The member of the Presidency, Taulanta Jupi, has said that the PD should enter with candidates in all municipalities, an opinion which has been joined by Gazmend Koduzi, Orjola Pampuri and Agron Kapllanaj, an opinion which is also supported by the commanding chairman of the party, Enkelejd Alibey.

While the deputy of PD Kreshnik Çollaku has expressed his opinion on competing with candidates only in those municipalities where he has a chance to win.
