The Democratic Party has nominated Ibrahim Brukë as a candidate for the 2023 local elections in the Vorë Municipality. The news was announced through a post on social networks by the DP's official website. Attached to his photo, they also published the candidate's biography. Two years ago, the doctor ran for deputy in Kukës district.

Ibrahim Arif Bruka was born on February 15, 1962 in Ujmisht of Kukës. He finished the 8-year education of the time in his hometown. General secondary education in 1977-1981 at the united secondary school in Kukës. During the years 1981-1982, he completed an internship in production. In the years 1982-1987, he completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Medicine, general medicine branch at the University of Tirana.
In the years 1987-1988, Ibrahimi worked as a general practitioner in Kukës. In the years 1988-1991, he completed post-graduate studies in surgery and during this time he was appointed surgeon at QSUT, Mother Teresa, Tirana.
Political activity: Active during the December 1990 movement and continuing without interruption.
In 2001, Ibrahim Bruka was a candidate for deputy and winner in area 44 in Tirana. Permanent participant in all campaigns for central and local elections and delegated in Tirana and other districts. Member of the disciplinary commission, voted by the National Council from 2005 to 2009. Proposed for every local and central campaign as a candidate from Tirana, Kamza, Vora and Kukësi. Part of the real primaries in 2020 and the winner of the race. Currently a member of the KPPDSH, from the Assembly of July 2021. No connection with the dictatorship personally but also from the family.
