"The recommendations of the EU are clear", Commissioner Varheley

The European Commissioner, Oliver Varheley, spoke about the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During a visit to Sarajevo, he said that the EU's recommendation to give Bosnia the status of a candidate for membership in the Union is clear and firm.

"The European path is open for BiH, but we have high expectations from you," Varheley said after a meeting with members of the BiH Presidency, while adding: "We want to see tangible and clear results. It is necessary that the Council of Ministers in the old meeting approve all the measures that are important in that way".
