Kosovo police are attacked in Leposavi?, Kuriti's reaction comes: One officer is killed, another is injured

A serious incident is reported again in the north of Kosovo, where a policeman is said to have been killed.

The news is confirmed by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti himself, who points out that during the night, in the village of Banjska in Leposaviq, the Kosovo police was attacked, as a result of which one officer lost his life and another was injured.

Around 3 o'clock in the morning today, in the village of Banjska in Leposaviq, the Kosovo police was attacked, in which case one Kosovo policeman was killed and another was injured. The killed is a police officer with the rank of sergeant, while the injured is a member of the border police. At this moment, the firing of firearms of different calibers on our police continues. The attackers are professionals with masks and armed with heavy weapons.

We condemn this criminal and terrorist attack. Organized crime with political, financial and logistical support from official Belgrade is attacking our country. In this battle we protect and enforce the law, protect and preserve citizens without distinction and independent Kosovo. The executing criminals and their order givers will fail, be caught, tried and punished. The Government of the Republic of Kosovo and state institutions are ready and coordinated to respond to crime and criminals, terror and terrorists.
