A 17-year-old man was arrested today in Ferizaj under the suspicion that he tried to kill a 20-year-old man with a knife.

The injured person from this case was transported for treatment to KKUK due to the injuries received from the knife.

"On 19.04.2024 at 17:47, the regional police of Ferizaj received a report that there is a serious bodily injury at the intersection of the roads "Ramadan R3xhe & Uran Tinova" in Ferizaj. Police patrols immediately went to the scene, who learned that a person with a cold weapon (knife) seriously injured another male person, aged 20 years, and left in an unknown direction. The injured person was immediately sent to the Emergency Center in Ferizaj for medical assistance, and then for further medical treatment he was transported to the University Clinical Center in Pristina", the announcement states.

The suspect has already been detained for 24 hours.

"Police teams, law enforcement officers, station investigators, regional investigators supported by other units have identified the 17-year-old suspect EC (M/K) and immediately surrounded the surrounding area and after intensive field work, at 19:30 they managed to arrest the suspect of this incident and escorted him to the Regional Investigations Sector in Ferizaj for other investigative procedures. Also, investigators and regional crime technicians came to the scene, who are examining the scene, while the guardian prosecutor has been notified of all police actions, who has decided to detain the suspect for 24 hours", it is further stated in notification.
