Video / They robbed the businessman's safe with 880 thousand euros, the perpetrators are arrested

Greek police have uncovered new details from the robbery of 880 thousand euros, after two and a half years of investigation. Two of the gang members were reportedly arrested. A third accomplice has been declared wanted while two other robbers have not yet been identified.

The five perpetrators, in October 2019, had entered a house in Pylaia, and after tying up the elderly businessman and two family helpers, dismantled and removed the safe which had 400 thousand euros in cash along with pounds and jewelry. In total 480,000 euros.

The perpetrators loaded the safe into a Range Rover and disappeared. Footage from the robbery was also published in the Greek media.

Last Thursday, police operations were carried out and a Greek and a Ukrainian were arrested, whose jewelry was found from the robbery at the businessman's house.

They have confessed their involvement and as they said, they stole the business car and after the robbery they dismantled it and sold the spare parts.
