"The national team has a bright future", warns captain Gjimshiti: In

Captain Berat Gjimshiti has reacted through a post on social networks about Albania's journey to Euro 2024.

He writes that the national team showed character by facing the football giants as equals, but they also lacked luck. The defender emphasizes that what the national team has done in Germany was only the beginning and the future will be bright.

Gjishmiti also appreciates the extraordinary support of the Red and Black fans.

"An incredible journey from the qualifiers to the European Championship. We showed character as a national team by appearing on the field as equals to European giants, but we also lacked the luck to achieve more. To be the captain of the National Team in a European is the greatest pride for me and to lead these amazing teammates has been something unique.

I want to thank the best fans in the world, the Red and Black fans who have not left us alone at any moment supporting us in all ways, but an even bigger thanks to them is that they showed high sports culture, making all of Europe speak well of them and the Albanian nation. The national team has a bright future and this is just the beginning of even greater things that await us. Forever Red and Black, my Albania Strength", writes captain Gjimshiti.
